A Grant dated 1421-2 shows William Wasteneys had land in Brampton:
1421-2 Grant by John Henhede, chaplain, to John Forest, clerk, and others of the lands and tenements etc which John Henhede and others had by grant of William Wasteneys in Brampton, Laghton in Morthyng, Thropon, Anstan, Wykersley Brokehouse Thurcroft and Sladehooton.
William Wasteneys, died about 1730 and was buried at Treeton, he married Mary Gascoign. Children:
- Thomas
- William, of Brampton, aged 60, 1779.
William Wasteneys of Brampton had a son William and 2 daughters.
William had a son Hardolf who was aged 4, in 1779.
